I’m in the first trimester of my 3rd pregnancy (my children are 9 and 3). I didn’t really exercise through those pregnancies, but would like to keep active during this one. Anything you have to share is appreciated!
Well, thanks for the advice everyone! There are so many good answers, that I think I’m going to have to let it go to a vote.
A couple of notes after reading all of the answers:
1) There are a lot of sex-crazed individuals on Yahoo Answers…while that won’t be something I restrict, I don’t know that I’ll count it as my “exercise”, but thanks anyway.
2) Also, someone commented that I was wanting to exercise so I wouldn’t lose my figure— no actually, this being my 3rd I know what happens and I’m not going for rock hard abs (ha, that’s a joke, really). I just want to stay HEALTHY and give myself the best shot at a good pregnancy and labor and delivery.
Thanks again for all of the advice!!

I plan on taking a pregnancy test tommorow just to confirm my thoughts a bit. I want to know who had the most success with which brand of pregnancy test? Which do you reccomend?
Grace asked:
I know they count the weeks of pregnancy by the date of the last period. So if the last period was on Dec. 1st for example, Jan 1st would be sometime around week 4.
But what about those with longer cycles? With cycles that are 50 days long for example. So if two women have their period on Dec. 1st, one with a regular cycle and the other with a longer cycle, I believe that they didn’t conceive on the same day.
Am I right? Please explain.

Beth asked:
I took a pregnancy test yesterday because my ovulation calendar software said it was time to test, and got a positive result. But, I have had really no symptoms, aside from a bit of fatigue and being overly emotional and hungry more often, all of which can be explained away. When can I exepct some of the other symptoms: ****** tenderness, morning sickness, etc?

This is my first pregnancy, and I am so worried. I am getting very excited, but this little place in the back of my mind is telling me not to get too excited until after I go to the doctor. Could their be a chance of it being wrong? If I calculated correctly I would be approx. 5 weeks.Thanks.

Just wanted to know the about the woman out there that had the longest pregnancy. Longest labor would be cool to know as well.
Grace asked:
I just had a miscarriage last week and I still have not recovered. I’m so sad, but I do not want to lose hope. I really want to start trying again after three to five months.
The doctor said that the miscarriage had nothing to do with me or my body. She said most likely the pregnancy wasn’t developing normally due to a chromosome problem
My question is: what are the chances of a normal healthy pregnancy for me the next time I try?
