By the way, it’s a urine test at a clinic.
I’m not trying myself just yet, but I am curious how long it may take when we do start trying. I’ve been on the pill for about 8 years. Will this affect the time it will take to conceive? Will it ruin my chances althogether? Eight years seems like such a long time to be manipulating your cycle.

Since hCG is produced due to a fertilized egg which is implanted in the uterus, is there any hCG produced in the case of an ectopic pregnancy? If so is it readable on a pregnancy test? Or if the fertilized egg does not produce the larger amounts of hCG that an implanted egg in the uterus would, is a physical check-up the only means of determining an ectopic pregnancy?

Do I need to fill out some sort of application for that or what?? And do I have to have medical certification for pregnancy on FMLA leave?
