I lost my baby at 5 months and had to be induced to get him out of me and the hormones went away almost immediately. All my pregnancy hormones were gone in about 2 weeks. And a pregnancy test showed neg. But like I said everyone is different. If you get a positive pregnancy test I would go to the doctor and find out if it is because you are pregnant again or it's just lingering hormones. it depends on the person. The dr told her that the HCG can take up to 2 wks to leave her system as long as all the tissue got cleaned out. Told her to retry in a month. As long as you are just spotting that doesn't mean a miscarriage because pregnant woman can spot but if you are concerned I would see the Dr to find out for sure.
