i had sex thusday,unprotected,he came in me.
i took a pregnancy test today it came out negative.
I heard that your suppose to take a pregnancy test
like 2 weeks or so after youve had sex. is that true if
so should i take another test next week or the week after
to be safe?
also, does drinking liquids have any effects on the test
results? because i drunk a whole bunch of water and fruit
punch before i took the test.????????

No that’s not true, 2 weeks after is to soon to test. You need to wait until you miss a period or if you want a few days before it’s due. When that time comes make sure you test with your first morning urine that’s when the HGC levels are highest. Oh and it doesn’t matter what you drank before it, you took it to soon so that’s why it was negative, you might still be pregnant.
You should wait until the day that you’re supposed to get your next period to take a test for the most accurate test results. And yes, drinking a lot of fluid before taking a test can dilute your urine which can possibly lead to an inaccurate result. For most accurate results use first morning urine (right away when you wake up in the morning). It’d have the highest concentration of hCG.
