You can only guess how many. Even then it's really hard to say. I had a b itch who looked HUGE who 4, had one who I thought hmmm.. 5 or 6 at very most and she had 13. You can guess.. Or ask the vet, and even that's not reliable.. I have a friend whose husband is a vet, he checked and said 7, b itch had 14. Just by looking at her ? You can only guess how many. Feel gently along her sides and you may feel some little walnuts. Keep in mind though that some puppies may be up under her ribs where you can't feel them. Kudos to you for adopting her.
