What is the best way to prevent pregnancy after having ***?

michaelahalliday asked:

What is the best way to prevent pregnancy after having ***? Today is the 5th day after having *** with my boyfriend. Is there any medicines (asides from pills, because pills will only prevent pregnancy if you take it right after having sex) that will prevent pregnancy???

Nope, sorry. If you didn’t want to become pregnant, you should have used birth control or taken the Plan B within 72 hours of having ***.

The only thing you can do is be smart and not have unprotected *** next time.

There are none that I am aware of that work that far after ***********. The only thing you can do now is cross your fingers and wish.

Umm… you can try not having *** at all, or maybe thinking about that BEFORE you have *** and have him wear a condom and maybe you being on birth control would help… geeze! What is with you kids nowadays??? Do you know how many types of birth control are out there?!?! I can think of 15 different kinds of birth control right now and if I researched I could probably find a few more. Are kids nowadays just dedicated to making dumb decisions?

where the hell is *** ed in these darn schools!

the morning after pill is exactly that, the morning after. after 5 days your best method is prayer i guess!

the overall best method is abstinence and if you cannot abstain condoms and birth control used together.

the only thing i can think of is getting the morning after pill but i think you might be a bit late to take it now. the only other things is give a week or so get a pregnancy test if it comes back possitive get an abortion , thats if you want one

A condom and birth control. See sooo many girls just think omg I had *** Im pregnant. And really they arent. Taking a pill can harm your body more than anything. Be safe! Good luck!

or have an abortion if you are pregnant.

and, next time, don’t have *** if you are worried about this.

This late after sex, there is unfortunately no way to prevent pregnancy, just to terminate it. If your egg was fertilized then, it is already starting to implant and divide so things like medications or ******** won’t help (douching doesn’t help anyway.)

So your best bet is to wait until you are expecting your period and take a home pregnancy test to see if you are indeed pregnant (they won’t work before then.)

Well I would have said the morning after pill but since its your fifth day I hope you cleaned yourself out afterwards and then prayed really hard Good Luck girl!!!

It’s pretty much too late to do the morning after pill. All you can really do now is hope that you aren’t pregnant. In a few more days, go get a pregnancy test. If you’re pregnant, go see your doctor to discuss your options. If you’re not, thank whatever you believe in and promise yourself to be more careful in future. At least use a barrier method like condoms. What I do to be extra safe is I’m on the pill AND I use condoms. Your future is at risk here. You have to stay smart. Good luck, and I’ll be sending good thoughts your way!

    Blessed be.

never heard of cause and effect no??? OK for future use, you have to use contraception before or whilst doing the deed. You cant start thinkin a week later about it.

I think you can have the coil fitted which acts like an emergency contraceptive – best speak to your doctor about the possibility of that really.

Seriously though – take it from someone who has been through an abortion and had a baby that wasn’t planned – there is no easy way to deal with an unplanned pregnancy – it’s much better to take a pill and have peace of mind.

Edit – just had a look online and you can have a copper IUD fitted up to 5 days after *** – get down your GP’s today!

Take and aspirin and drink a coke. It won’t get rid of your baby problem, but It’ll at least soothe the pounding head ache, that I’m sure you have.
